Mr. Maurer has over 25 years of experience creating safe and secure retirement plans for his clients. His combined expertise as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and licensed Texas attorney helps him to provide his clients with a comprehensive approach to their needs.

Christopher J. Maurer graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1977 with a B.S. in Economics, with distinction. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981 and also attended the University of Colorado School of Business.

Maurer practiced law in Colorado from 1983-1987, specializing in the areas of tax and business planning for closely-held businesses and their owners. His work in this area included estate planning, business organizations, employee benefit plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, probate, and business transfer.

He was admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, 1981; Colorado, 1983; and Texas, 1991. Chris has two children. He attends St. Michael Catholic Church and has been involved with many community organizations, including youth sports.
